Biography

Laura Reid is an Australian actor, director and filmmaker whose work spans film, television and theatre. As both a performer and filmmaker, she works across projects in front of and behind the camera. Her on-screen credits include Elvis, directed by Baz Luhrmann, where she appeared as Daisy Girl, as well as Joe vs. Carole for Peacock and Hard Knock Life for Amazon Prime Video.

Laura has trained in Australia and Los Angeles and has studied with acting coach Howard Fine since 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary and Applied Theatre from Griffith University.

Alongside her acting career, Laura works as a director and filmmaker. Her debut short film Le Petit Oiseau, which she directed and featured in, marked the founding of her production company, Grace Productions. Her work as both an actor and director shapes her approach to storytelling, with a focus on character-driven stories and grounded performances.
