- Charles started acting in school plays and local theater productions. He attended college majoring in Communications and Theater. He worked as the Director's Assistant for "Sunday Night Live" at Oral Roberts TV Productions.
During the early 1980's, Charles worked as a cameraman, set and lighting designer for WTNH-TV New Haven, Connecticut. Productions included: The Miss Connecticut Pageant, The Phil Donahue Show, Connecticut Boxing Association fights.
Charles then moved on to become the Manager/Executive Producer/Director for 4 cable production studios in Andover, Massachusetts owned by Telecommunications, Inc. During this time, Charles produced, directed, edited programs, commercials, music videos and theater stage productions. He was a founding member of the Harvard Square Scriptwriters. Most notably, Charles scripted, produced, directed, edited and provided voice over for a documentary on the plight of Leatherback Sea Turtles which was distributed to Sea Aquariums worldwide.
Charles teamed up with renowned acting coach, John Pallotta as Director of Photography during which time he produced student demo videos. Charles also was the Director of Photography/Editor for TrueDMV Entertainments feature, "Gangsters." In 2018, Charles was an actor and assistant Director of Photography for "Leaf Me Alone".
