Biography

Michael Kunicki is a Chicago-based artist who takes on the role of both actor and director in a variety of films. His recent works include Brandon Daley's feature directorial debut $POSTIONS, Joe Swanberg-produced horror anthology film Yellow Eyes and Wolves Against The World, the second entry of Quinn Armstrong's Fresh Hell Trilogy.

Kunicki digs through the landscapes and relics of his past to explore the nuances of the dream through the characters he develops. He frequently collaborates with his wife Katie Morrison and creative partners Kevin Veselka and David Keyser. He is currently editing his first feature film on the shores of Lake Michigan in Rogers Park. When not on set, Kunicki can be found documenting the movements of his father on his 35mm camera.
