Biography

Nahel Tzegai is an award-winning British actor whose work spans major international stage productions and film.

She was an original cast member of the multi-award-winning production The Jungle (Young Vic, West End, St. Ann’s Warehouse, New York) and starred in the Drama Desk Award-winning Grenfell: In the Words of Survivors.

Her screen credits include The Swimmers and the upcoming feature film Cold Storage (2026).

She is a recipient of the Norman Beaton Fellowship Prize and was selected for BAFTA Elevate, recognising exceptional talent with international potential.

Tzegai is also a writer, selected for the Royal Court Theatre’s New Writers Programme, where her work was developed. Her background in stand-up comedy informs her work with precision, rhythm, and emotional intelligence.
