Matthew Lawes-Wickwar is an Editor and Producer who set up Suffolk based production company Other Brother Studios in 2016.
He is a 2017-2019 BFI Network x BAFTA Crew alumni, 2022 - 2026 BAFTA Connect member.
As Editor Matthew completed his first feature in 2024, Antony Green's DANIELLE BRANDON ENERGY and his second in 2025, Antony Green's R.A.D CHAPTER ONE.
As Producer Matthew has a slate of features in development. This slate includes horror and documentary with emerging talent including Lily Howkins COCOON, currently in Development with the BFI.
In 2016 Matthew set up a film fund to support emerging filmmakers which in 2023 was registered as the charity EMERGING VOICES FILM FOUNDATION which supports people from under-represented groups in the UK film industry, providing grants, mentoring opportunities and kit hire credit.
