Biography

Regan Grimes is a Canadian professional bodybuilder competing in the IFBB Men's Open division. Grimes began weight training at age 17 to enhance his performance in motocross racing, quickly developing a passion for bodybuilding that led him to enter his first competition at 18. Early amateur successes included a first-place overall finish at the 2014 Mississauga Luchka O’Brien Classic and second place at the 2014 Ontario Provincials, paving the way for his pro debut.

Grimes earned his IFBB Pro card in 2016 and made his professional debut in the Men's Open division in 2017. He transitioned to the Classic Physique division in 2018, winning the New York Pro and placing eighth at the Mr. Olympia that year. Switching over to the Open division from Classic Physique, in 2020, he competed in the IFBB's Romania Muscle Fest Pro, again placing first. In 2022, he won the Cairo Pro competition and qualified for the 2022 Mr. Olympia, but dropped out prior to the competition. Notable Olympia performances in Open include ninth place in 2023 and 14th in 2025, alongside a second-place finish at the 2025 Toronto Pro Supershow and fourth at the New York Pro.
