Biography

Natasha Tendulkar is Writer and Director based in Mumbai and belongs to Sawantwadi in Konkan Region. She started her career as a Child Artist under the guidance of Mr. and Mrs. Phatarphekar. After moving to Mumbai she Joined Mr. Peddnekar for further studies in theatre. Her debut play as Director was "Sparshaganda" for Air India which won several awards from 'Maharashtra State Competition for Drama' for "Best Director", "Best Actress" and "Best Play".

In 2008, her work was appreciated in MAMI Film Festival by the judges Gulzar, Sham Benegal, Ashutosh Govarikar, Prakash Jha, Jaya Bachchan, Govind Nehlani and others for winning "Best Short Film". In the team of a feature film for which Natasha worked are Kakan, Asa Mi Ashi Ti, Bombay Talkies, No Entry - Pudhe Dhoka Aahe and Sanshaykallol. She was also in the editing process for the films like Zakkas, One Room Kitchen, Mumbai Meri Jaan, Harishchandrachi Factory, Bandookya, and others. Besides this, she also acts and her debut play was "Golpitha" which was later included in the syllabus of NSD (NATIONAL SCHOOL OF DRAMA). The Character played by her 'Durga' got much recognition. She also acted in films such as Kakan, Asa Mi Ashi ti, and Bombay Talkies. Natasha did direction and concept design for the music video "When I had you" by Ruby. She also Directed the Tvc for Wardwiz Antivirus.
