Alia Brandt is an award-winning writer/director who believes deeply in the power of storytelling. Irreverence, wit, and bold explorations of daily life characterize their work. Their short films have been official selections at over a dozen national and international film festivals including the San Francisco Independent Film Festival (Interlands) and the Sacramento International Film Festival (Late Game Fark). She also won the Milan Arthouse Films Award for Best Short Film on Women in 2023 for Interlands.
