Biography

Jonathan Dylan King is an American actor who spent most of his childhood in Italy and France. He has worked with Zoe Saldana, Gabrielle Union, Paride Benassai, Claudia Gerini and Lucia Sarda among notable others and has been nominated for Best Actor in several short films. He speaks four languages, including English, French, Italian, and Spanish. He was born in Iowa and lived a few years in California before moving to Italy when he was seven. He finished high school in France, and has a degree in Applied Foreign Languages from the Sorbonne University in Paris. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has shown great versatility as an actor, playing American, French, and Italian characters. He can be seen in From Scratch, a Netflix series based on the memoir written by Tembi Locke and produced by Hello Sunshine founded by Reese Witherspoon. He also guest-starred as the young Jeff Pickles in the Showtime series, Kidding, starring and produced by Jim Carrey. His most recent movies both filmed in Italy in 2025: Villa Amore, a Hallmark production, and Blame It On Rome, to be released on Amazon Prime. He studied with Marjorie Ballentine at her studio in Los Angeles and has starred in a number of theatre productions, including the two-person play written by Laura Eason at the McCadden Place Theater in Hollywood.
