Biography

Curtis grew up in Melbourne, Australia and forged his love of the visual arts, particularly film and photography, at the age of 5. He established his own freelance business at 12 years old and continued to build up his craft as a filmmaker. By 2017, he branched out into the narrative direction and began shooting, editing and directing short films. In 2018, he graduated SAE Institute with an Associate Degree in Film. Over the next few years, Curtis gravitated toward the documentary genre. Referring to it as "the most enticing form of filmmaking as it engages with REAL circumstances, as opposed to reenactments". At 25 years of age, he released his first feature length documentary 'ACCent on Music' (2023) which follows the events of 600 students from 13 schools performing for a major orchestral concert in Melbourne. His latest feature film is 'Kingdom Culture - A Hands at Work Documentary' (2025), in which himself and 11 other missionaries travel to Africa to serve in the most vulnerable communities.
