Biography

Anastasia Ferguson was born in Miami, Florida. Her mother was born in St.Andrews, Jamaica, and was a high school English teacher. Her father was born in London, England. Anastasia got her start modeling as a child with the Greene Agency and World Of Kids. As a child she was in print campaigns for JCPenney, Limited Too, Kohls, Nike, and Essence Magazine. Eventually she pursued her love for theatre earning a Theatre/Acting degree from Illinois State University. She performed in Main Stage Shows such as She Kills Monsters with Paul Dennhardt as director, where she understudied all 7 women fight tracks. She did go on to play Lilith, one of the lead roles for the whole run. Other notable roles were Orangutan in Water by The Spoonful and The Tipuna in Waiora: Te Kaipo where she spoke only in Maori and performed an ancestral Karanga taught by Dakota Camacho and Jack Gray. She also toured with the Illinois State Shakespeare Touring company performing Romeo and Juliet for local schools and prisons. Upon graduating, Anastasia moved to Los Angeles, California to further her acting career. She has lent her acting talents to short films such as Deliverance, Gemini Rising and Othaniel to name a few. She appeared in Claws' Social Media videos for Facebook and student films. Recently she appeared in a ThirdLove Bra Ad on social media and booked a Hotels.com UK national commercial for their Hate' Liker campaign.
