Michael Spencer studied film at New York University and UCLA, and has created a number of award-winning programs for cable and broadcast television, covering subjects as diverse as film industry history, martial arts, the art of the cocktail, modern medicine and the culture of tourism.
He has created programming for PBS stations, A&E, the International Television Association, USA Network, Comcast, the EPA and the Library of Congress.
He has won awards at the Chicago International Film Festival, Worldfest, Moondance, CINE Golden Eagle, Cinequest and Emmy Award nominations.
