Scarlett Trani

Born in Marino as Rossella Trani, Scarlett grew up in Rome, while getting involved with performances of different kind, from her first short recital in nursery school to end-of-term academic, musical and cultural initiatives. During teenagehood, she got the opportunity to perform 'Love Ukraine' by Volodymyr Sosyura, alongside her co-member from Mondi Riemersi, a community project aimed at integrating together diverse international groups living in Rome. In more recent years, Scarlett moved to the UK and started working in the catering and hospitality industries, in order to 'pay the bills', but from time to time still manages to participate to varied performing activities, like her experiences with the Glasgow Film Crew. She also now studies at the Open University for a degree in Criminology, while residing in Edinburgh. Scarlett is a singer too and she discovered her passion when joining her local church's choir, aged 5, although she shares her musical spirit with other members of her family and was ultimately artistically influenced by them.
