Biography

Miguel A. Baez Jr. is an American actor, stunt performer, and also a military technical advisor. Who was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut but raised back-and-forth between Fajardo, Puerto Rico and Miami Beach, Florida. Immediately after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Hawaii. Where he has spent all of his adult-life living. He earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business and Management from Excelsior College and is a graduate of the prestigious United States Army Sergeants Major Academy.

He first got his taste for acting as a Soldier on the HBO pilot for Lessons Learned (TV movie 2000). But was not able to pursue acting for several years after due to the September 11 attacks. In 2012, he once again started acting as a Navy SEAL on the military drama Last Resort (TV series 2012). Shortly after he was bitten by the acting bug, and was acting as a SWAT Officer/Sniper on the fast-paced police drama Hawaii Five-0 (TV series 2010). This all led him to other roles in films and television productions. Until his acting debut as Jet Skier on 50 First Kisses (2017), and as a Narco known as Lorea Guard on the most anticipated Netflix film Triple Frontier (2019). In addition, he was hand-picked as the military technical advisor for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), and also Godzilla vs. Kong (2020). To run a miniature boot camp to train and coach actors, and provide on-set advice for the military-inspired scenes during production.

Miguel is an up-and-coming actor and a stuntman who has a keen eye for military technical advising behind-the-scenes. He is a seasoned Army veteran with over 25 years of service who has achieved the coveted senior enlisted rank of Sergeant Major (E-9). In addition, he has over 20 years of water safety professional experience as a beach lifeguard/instructor. The knowledge, special skills, and real-world experiences has provided him with tools that the film and television industry can benefit from.
