- Pattric is culturally Japanese, having been reared in Japan by a Japanese couple until age
four, and Luiseno from visits on the reservation with her grandparents when she was a
toddler to age four. On that foundation, layers of tradition, class, education, and ethics
were added during the years in Europe and Great Britian. Life was much more relaxed in
Hawaii, where her father was stationed after the European tour, the last overseas home. At
age ten and a half, Pattric was brought back to the US, to Southern California, to be near
the reservation and Native relatives. Having been put in front of a full auditorium
audience at age eleven to sing and loving it, Pattric started as a vocalist, until one
night many years later at a gig at a Country Club, a producer asked her to audition for his stage show. She
had never seen a stage production, did audition, did get a featured role, and, as it's
often said, the rest is history.

- Born in California, at three days old, Pattric was packed on a plane with many other infants and toddlers, sans parents, to Japan where USAF fathers and mothers were being stationed. Her formative years were spent under the care and parenting of a Japanese couple. Happily, Japanese and Native American cultural influences flawlessly intertwine.
- Pattric was brought to the USA when she was almost eleven. Her first choir teacher gave her sheet music from Broadway musicals, with additional high notes written in, and put her in front of the school assembly. She's never stopped singing.
- In addition to her theatrical creativity, Pattric is a published and produced playwright, a poet, and a fine artist in oils and gouache on canvas and pottery. Lately, sketching portraits has taken the forefront, and she still constantly doodles cartoons.
- Pattric has driven in Wales where side mirrors kiss, Paris in a teeny two-cylinder sub-sub compact surrounded by massive speeding trucks, and Washington DC where turning into a parking garage takes stunt driving skills... and nary a ding or dent. Until Australia where she took off the left side mirror backing out of an underground parking spot.
- When not working, Pattric storyboards her short plays to exercise her director's eye. It helps with writing, too, when how to show versus tell becomes obvious and extraneous lines get cut.
