After finishing his architectural study in Istanbul, he moved in Los Angeles and obtained his MFA degree in Production Design at UCLA as a Fulbright scholar.
Hakan is an alum of Emmy's Television Academy Foundation since 2018 and was selected into ADG Production Design Initiative in 2019.
