- Cyris Laury-Schaefer is an actor and filmmaker from Maui, Hawai’i. In 2017, he first starred in the short film "I Am Because You Are", which premiered at the Hawai'i International Film Festival and won best short film at the Maui Film Festival. Since then, he has taken on supporting roles in feature films including Kuleana/Maui (2017) and Aloha Surf Hotel (2020). In 2021, he co-starred in an episode of Magnum P.I. In 2023 he co-wrote and starred in the short film "Viral", which was supported by a grant from the Hawai'i Foundation on Culture and the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has also appeared in numerous commercial campaigns and trained in performance at institutions including the Maui Academy of Performing Arts, Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts, and the Wesleyan University Theater Department.
As of 2023, he is pursuing an undergraduate degree at Wesleyan University, where he acts, writes, directs, and produces student films and faculty theater productions.
He is represented by The Osbrink Agency in New York and Bliss Models & Talent in Hawai'i.
