Sahab Zaribaf is an acclaimed Iranian still photographer whose work has shaped the visual identity of several of Iran's most prominent films. His notable credits include Sun Children directed by Majid Majidi, The Ghosts directed by Dariush Mehrjui, Bridge Sleep directed by Oktay Baraheni, and Beyond the Wall directed by Vahid Jalilvand.
He won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Still Photography at the 39th Fajr Film Festival for Sun Children, and was named Photographer of the Year by the Iranian Cinema Photographers' Association for Standing in the Dust. For The Ghosts, Zaribaf received both the Crystal Simorgh at the 33rd Fajr Film Festival and the Best Photography Award from the Iranian House of Cinema.
