For the web-series Steel Town Gaming, it was Scout who suggested the production begin with a written screenplay, rather than just improvising entire episodes.

Scout's performance in Steel Town Gaming was inspired by a series of recurring dreams in which he yelled at children in a Zellers store in southwestern Ontario. In the dream, he would always wake up in the last moments before someone threw a DVD at his head.
