Marco Baroni(III)

Marco Baroni is an Italian director and editor, born and based in Rome, Italy. After high school he discovered his passion for shooting and editing, making parody videos with his friends. His first short film, "Intervista con il mostro" ("Interview with the Monster"), was made with friends on a cheap camera for a short-film contest dedicated to Mel Brooks's "Young Frankenstein." Unexpectedly, the short was selected, screened at a major movie theatre, and distributed by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment as a special feature on the new "Young Frankenstein" DVD edition. As his passion grew, from 2006 to 2008 he worked at a multiplex cinema while attending courses in film production and a directing school. In the following years, in addition to his work as a camera operator and editor for several companies, he directed two documentaries and several music videos. In 2021 he felt the need to get back in the game with a new short film, and in 2021 "Cuore di strega" ("Witch's Heart") was selected at several national and international film festivals.
