- Benjamin Gan, an award-winning filmmaker and writer, was born in Taichung, Taiwan. After graduating from college, he worked as a writer, teacher, and chief editor. Benjamin made his directorial debut with "Leo in the City" (2010). He has since directed such films as "Secrets of the Lakes" (2015), "Your Clock" (2017), and "Mr. L" (2017). Benjamin is also a novelist. He adapted some of his short stories into feature films directed by himself.

- Benjamin Gan is a Taiwanese novelist, poet, and director. As a writer, Benjamin has published lots of short stories and poems. His works can be described as surrealistic and absurdist. He has won two literary awards for fiction. Benjamin is also a film director. His movie "Secrets of the Lakes" was nominated for 2015 South Taiwan Film Festival, South Competition Award, Experimental Film. His next movie, "Your Clock" has won the Best Feature Fiction Award in the 12 Months Film Festival. In 2017, his film "Mr. L" won Festival Special Mention Award at Noida International Film Festival.
