- Born in Milan, Italy, Federica Alice Carlino began her career with Mediaset TV. She studied filmmaking, acting, photography, editing, visual effects, and makeup in Milan, later training in prosthetic makeup under Sergio Stivaletti in Rome. In 2016, she moved to Los Angeles, where she earned a BFA in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy. She further trained as an actor at the Met Film School in Ealing and Pinewood Studios in the UK. Today, she works as a director, casting director, and author. In 2023, she founded the Morgana Film Festival, an international festival supporting independent filmmakers. Recognized as one of the most awarded directors under 35, she has received numerous international accolades and has spoken at film festivals, universities, and industry panels. She was also selected among the Top 10 finalists of Johnny Depp's People's Artist competition, placing ninth overall. Federica is the creator and author of The Monster's Club, a coming-of-age mystery novel developed as part of a larger television series project, and is known for character-driven stories exploring grief, identity, and human relationships.
