Biography

Alfonso Thiele was born on April 5, 1920 in Istanbul, Turkey.

He was a racing driver who held dual citizenship of the United States and Italy, though he spent most of his life in Italy.

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Scuderia Centro Sud (1960 (1 GP)) and Scuderia Sant Ambroeus (1961 (Not Present)). He started 1 Grand Prix.

Teammate in Formula One was Giorgio Scarlatti.
