Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Ida Theresa Myklebost is a Norwegian-American director, producer and journalist.

She has a BA in journalism from the University of Volda. Until 2015 she worked as a reporter and researcher for some of the largest TV-stations in Norway, before moving back to the US where she directed and produced the 2017 short documentary film "Unwelcome", which has screened at several acclaimed film festivals in the US and abroad.

Ida now works as a TV- and radio journalist for NRK, the Norwegian radio and television public broadcasting company.

She is the co-founder of OsLove Film Festival.

Ida Theresa Myklebost guest speaks at Columbia University about journalism, media and democracy.

The Atlantic Council invited Ida Theresa Myklebost and associate producer Jasmine El-Gamal to screen their film &quot;Unwelcome&quot; to the former deputy general of NATO, Alexander Vershbow in Washington D.C. in 2017, followed by a discussion about the current state of the refugee crisis in Greece and her experience of working as a filmmaker in a refugee camp.
