- Tomás Enge was born on September 11, 1976 in Liberec, Czech Republic [ex-Czechoslovakia]. He is an actor, known for Grand Prix (2022), Formula 1 (1950) and ABC Sports (1961).
- He participated in the final three races of the 2001 Formula One Season, became the first driver from the Czech Republic to compete in Formula One. He made his debut at the Italian Grand Prix on 16 September, after being brought in by Prost as a replacement for Luciano Burti, who was recovering from his crash at the previous race in Belgium.
- Tomas Enge has lost the 2002 Formula 3000 Championship title after his win at the Hungarian round of the series was taken away. He failed a drug test taken during the Hungary weekend, and marijuana was found in his system. This denmotes him to 3rd place in the final standings and makes Sébastien Bourdais, the champion.
