Biography

Christian Danner was born on April 4, 1958 in Munich, Germany [ex-West Germany].

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Zakspeed (1985 (2 GPs), 1987 (15 GPs)), Osella (1986 (5 GPs)), Arrows (1986 (10 GPs)) and Rial (1989 (4 GPs)). He started 36 Grands Prix and 4 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 18th in 1986.

Champion: European Formula 3000 (1985). He became the first Formula 3000 champion.

Winner: 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (1992), ADAC Nürburgring 24 Hours (1992).

Teammates in Formula One were: Piercarlo Ghinzani, Thierry Boutsen, Martin Brundle, Volker Weidler and Pierre-Henri Raphanel.
