  • Julie Wiskirchen was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She holds a BA in English and Film Theory from the University of Notre Dame and an MFA in Fiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College. She worked as an executive assistant at McKinsey & Company in New York City and Sydney, Australia. She was the first executive assistant in Google's Los Angeles office and worked there from 2005-2015, hosting many Talks@Google events that can be found on YouTube. Since 2017, she has been an executive assistant at IMDb. She is the co-author of St Lou Haiku and co-founder of the webzine Ape Culture. She is an avid fan of the St Louis Cardinals who writes a haiku summary of each game which can be found at Twitter.
