He started 194 Grands Prix, 5 Wins, 2 Pole Positions, 5 Fastest Laps, 23 Podiums and 186.5 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 2nd in 1985.

Michele Alboreto chose blue and yellow for his helmet as a tribute to his childhood idol, Ronnie Peterson, Swedish driver who passed away in September 1978.
