- Eric Kairupan is a special effects makeup artist, an actor, a professional zombie and a horror movie consultant from Indonesia. He and his wife are well-known as the special effects makeup artists couple in the Indonesian movie industry, mostly Indonesian horror films, and has involved in many Indonesian box office movies that sold more than one million or more tickets.
Eric Kairupan was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and married with his lovely wife, Yonna Kairupan during the time of President Abdurrahman Wahid leadership. Eric and his wife has actively in feature-length film since 2017, and before that period, both of them has engaged in several short movie projects.
Eric Kairupan also famous as the father of Indonesian zombie because of his movement since the year of 2009 for making zombies as pop culture phenomenon in Indonesia. He is the founder of the biggest zombie community in Indonesia, Kompi Zombie and have been appointed to provide assistance for several zombie movies, also involved in many big events that required zombie activities.
