Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Peter Whitehead (privé) (1950 (2 GPs)-1951 (3 GPs)-1952 (2 GPs), 1954 (1 GP)), Graham Whitehead (1951 (1 GP)), Atlantic Stable (1953 (1 GP)). He started 10 Grands Prix, 1 Podium and 4 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 9th in 1950.

He won the 1951 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Half-brother of Graham Whitehead.
