Jorge A. Borda is a Spanish-Argentine director, producer, and writer with over five decades of international experience in television and documentary cinema. His distinguished career is defined by a global perspective and a pioneering approach to historical narrative.

International Footprint: He has directed and produced over 100 documentaries filmed in 51 countries and distributed across 70 territories in the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Since the mid-1980s, Borda was one of the early pioneers in integrating dramatic fiction into historical documentaries, developing a cinematic language that bridges the emotional gap between contemporary audiences and the eras of the past.

Executive Leadership: Between 2000 and 2017, he served as Executive Vice President of Universal Views TV in New York City, where he wrote, produced, and directed over 300 hours of international programming, while managing a digital archive of more than 4,000 hours of content. In Italy, he worked at Mediaset (Canale 5), serving as producer and director for major European co productions in collaboration with networks such as ZDF (Germany), TVE (Spain), and ARTE (France).
