Giacomo De Bello was born in Padua, Italy in 1995. After graduating in Electronic Music and Composition from the A. Steffani Conservatory in October 2018, he began working in film as a runner on independent sets in Milan and London.
His most relevant professional credits as assistant director include working on We Are Who We Are (2020), The Book of Clarence (2023) and on the Italian main units of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023), Lift (2024), Dune: Part Two (2024), Disclaimer (2024), F1: The Movie (2025), Monster (2022), The Studio (2025) and The Thomas Crown Affair (2027).
He is the president of Sangre Malo Film through which he remains actively dedicated to producing and supporting independent cinema by making short films, holding filmmaking workshops and organizing Intervalli Festival each year. His film Scarrafone (2022) has been distributed in over twenty territories and reached numerous platforms including Amazon Prime US and ChiliTV.
