Galina Starovoitova

Russian politician and statesman, specialist in the field of interethnic relations, human rights activist, candidate of historical sciences; People's Deputy of the USSR (1989-1991), People's Deputy of Russia (1990-1993), deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation (1993-1998). She was killed in the evening of November 20, 1998 in St. Petersburg.
