Pedro Allevato (aka Sugar Blood) is an award-winning director and visual artist in London, UK. He first started his training in animation at the Vancouver Film School before establishing his career as a director in London, where he has been based since.
He has collaborated with notable brands including Marvel, Netflix, Gorillaz, Apple and the BBC in studios across the globe, including New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver and London.
His work is recognized for its elegant design and beauty of movement, with a style that is defined by a seamless flirtation between 2D, flat 3D animation and graphic design. In 2020 he embarked on his most personal project, Dark Room, which has been garnering regular accolades from established film festivals globally and won him 12 awards. He has also directed and designed an animation sequence for Netflix's Stranger Things, which has become extremely popular and critically acclaimed.
