Biography

Leo Popovic (born Dolores Popovic) is a Macedonian actor, born in Skopje on June 7th, 1995. He is of Montenegrin descent on his father's side. His career started at the age of 18, mainly in short movies and on-stage. He graduated stage acting at the Faculty Of Dramatic Arts in Skopje in 2017. Leo is knows for "Horse Riders", "Dolores" and "In Treatment". On January 8th, 2022 Leo came out as transmasculine and announced that he now goes by he/they pronouns. Leo is the first openly transgender actor in his country. He has decided on keeping his birth name Dolores as a stage name under which he will continue to release music (stylized as aka dolores)
