- Ramesh Ranjan Jha is a Nepalese Film Actor, Director and Writer, who works in Nepali and Maithili films. Ramesh Ranjan made his screen debut with the 1995 Maithili Drama Film "Kaniya". He has won numerous accolades in his career, including National Film Awards as Best Outstanding Acting Award and many awards at international film festivals and award ceremonies. He has won Best Actor in a Negative Role at Kamana Film Award from the movie Sanrakshan.
He has also written several Books, Novel like - "Fhulba Haran", "Katha Sanghra" (Story collection), "Kabita Sanghra", "Sankarman", "DomKach" (Maithili Drama), "Umash" (Nepali Novel), "Sangor" (Maithili Novel), "Murda", "Rakt Barsha", "RangRag" and many more.
He is Former Drama Department chief and Academician at Nepal Academy of Music & Drama From 2010 to 2018.
