Biography

Born in Belluno (Italy), a former professional Ice Hockey player with Bellinzona, Lugano, Chiasso (Switzerland), Varese and Asiago (Italy), he quit playing due to a heavy injury at 20 years of age. The son of rugby player, commentator and SPORT CRIME main character Luca, Nico did show an interest for sport movies and cinema in general since very young. He contributes as a "young contingent consultant" for SPORT CRIME, like he did with the movie "The Legacy Run". The plot of episode 1 "Hail Dear Jab" is his first piece of writing collaboration. He recruited and trained Toussaint Mavakala (Jaden), Nabila Jaziri (Jasmine) and all the "street" and young actors in general. He practices boxing and basketball at amateur level and is heavily involved in any sport facet of SPORT CRIME production. On the back of his neck a tattoo representing his father's three fingered deformed hand looms large and proud.

Huge size (197 cm, 97 kg).

A deep admirer of Tupac and Mike Tyson, he was supposed to be born and bred in New York where his father was living and playing in 1999, only a late twist of fate kept him and the family in Italy at the very last moment. Nico states that a heavy wire with the Big Apple has remained since.

The fork-like tattoo on the back of his head represents the right hand of father Luca, according to Nico it tightens further the «more brotherish than parental very close connection».

He is a strong believer in the healing powers of fight and collision sports.

He helped out training disabled people since 10 years old. The SPORT CRIME core group (Daniela Scalia, father Luca and Gianluca Veneziano) coached various groups of heavily mental damaged people in "O'Rules", an unprecedented formula of full contact oval ball sport collision with adapted rules.

Besides SPORT CRIME, he is specializing in over80 elder coaching.
