Joe Pignato

Joe Pignato is an award-winning composer and guitarist who has written music featured in a variety of multimedia projects. He began his musical journey by studying guitar and playing in local bands. In 2010 Joe got a chance to put his guitar skills to the test when he took the stage to jam with his hero, guitar legend Steve Vai. Ironically, a few months later Vai would choose Joe as a winner for the Guitar Center Private Session Guitar Competition. After some sound advice from Mr. Vai, Joe went on to study film score composition and orchestration and began his career as a visual media composer. Using contemporary composition techniques along with experience as a rock musician Joe writes in a diverse range of genres. His music has been used to underscore projects for clients such as as, Verizon, ABC, MTV, SyFy, Lifetime, USA Network, and many more.
