Gulshan Singh(II)

Gulshan Singh began his career as an Assistant Director in 2012 on the multiFilmfare and IIFA award-winning feature Barfi! which was later selected as India’s official entry to the Academy Awards in 2013. A British crime thriller IC9, which he directs, is scheduled for release in 2026, marking a bold step into UK-led cinema. He has played a pivotal role in direction and post-production on a range of critically and commercially successful projects, including the World War I epic Sajjan Singh Rangroot, and six other feature films. These productions were filmed across the UK, India, Mauritius, and New Zealand, and released theatrically worldwide, providing Singh with extensive experience working across international crews. After several years honing his craft, he was headhunted to direct his debut feature Afsar, which achieved a successful theatrical release across five continents. Singh was awarded Best Upcoming Film Director at the Passion Vista Awards in 2020
