Shane is a bodyboarder from Co. Sligo. Shane & Ashleigh Smith both won a silver medal at the 2017 European Bodyboard championship in Norway helping the Irish Team finish in 3rd place overall & he has won the Irish title (2016, 17, 18). He was invited to competed at the prestigious Mike Stewart Pipeline Invitational in Hawaii, unprecedented achievement for any Irish sportsperson. The Mike Stewart Pipeline Invitational is the first stop on the 2016 Association of Professional Bodyboarders (APB) world tour.
