Biography

Gaston Palewski was born on March 20, 1901 in Paris, France. He was married to Helen-Violette de Talleyrand-Périgord. He died on September 3, 1984 in Val-Saint-Germain, Essonne, France.

Long-time secret companion of Nancy Mitford, he was the brother in law of Christian Fouchet. His mother in law was the Franco-American socialite Anna Gould (1875-1961).

Public servant, he was chief of staff of De Gaulle during WWII and later minister and president of the Constitutional Council. He was a Libération order companion.
