Biography

Tim Mombourquette is a Canadian cinematographer and independent filmmaker from Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose work spans television, feature films, shorts, documentaries, commercials, and music videos. He is best known for his cinematography on the series "Vollies" created by Jonathan Torrens, earning a 2023 Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Photography, Comedy. His credits also include the feature "To The Moon", the short "Cart Girls", and the documentary series "Women of This Land". A Dalhousie University graduate with a background in biology, Mombourquette transitioned from science to film through hands-on experience and is largely self-taught. In 2021, he founded Mombo Productions, continuing to build a career defined by collaboration, adaptability, and a commitment to craft.
