[About the COVID-19 pandemic crisis]: I've gone through the worst year ever this year. But it's turned out to be the best year because I changed the way I'm looking at it.

[when asked about a lot of the trials and tribulations going on, esp. the death of her father]: I started looking at mishaps in life, bad choices in life, divorce, hurt, pain-I started looking at it like it's free life college, like God is trusting you. And it changes the perspective, it changes the way that you look at your situations and your storms. You really can dance in the puddles. And it helps the storms go away quicker when you start changing your perspective. And so I just realized that Romans 8:28 says that God is working all things together for your good. That means He is going to work that 'x' thing for your good. He's going to work that situation out for your good, that health crisis for your good; He has got it all worked out. And so I think that's the key looking at it: As long as you ain't dead, God ain't done. As long as you've got a pulse, God's got a plan. And so if you just get up, He's going to give you a bestseller. Everybody's got a story-might as well make yours a bestseller.

Depression runs in my family. It is something no one ever suspected about us because we were a well known family in the Pentecostal circle. I can never remember a time in my life where I was just like man this (life) is awesome. I was always driven to get more, and do more. I never knew that being driven like that could be a distraction to what was really going on - depression. It took a divorce, having no other choice than to move in with my parents and getting a job in retail for me to realize that I'd suffered from depression most of my life.

I had my wings. I'd come from a caterpillar to a butterfly. I told the devil, 'you should've taken me out when you could because I'm going to pull as many people out of Hell as I can. My goal is to save others from Hell. I'm going to love people back to life. I'm going to use my testimony to show people that God is the best redemption on the planet.'

God is over here trying to elevate you and move you from the back of the line to the front; He's trying to bless you, but you can't get it because you won't let go of your past. You're so busy living in the 'what was' that you're not enjoying the 'what is' and the enemy gets you there. The reason the enemy is fighting you is because of what's in you. And some of you need to begin to pray over yourselves and say, 'Father allow me to see what the enemy sees in me'. Because thieves don't rob empty vaults. The enemy does not mess with anybody that isn't a threat to him. His only desire is to keep you so bound by your past (that) you can't get to where God's taking you. And as long as you keep going back and trying to fix your past, stabilise what God has shaken you free from and believe the lies of the people that were counterfeits in your life, then you will stay in that place of complacency and mediocrity.
