Biography

Scott Oatley is an actor, studio singer and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, CA. His pure, strong and colorful voice has opened up the door to collaborations with some of the world's most renowned musical artists (John Legend, Cynthia Erivo, Maroon 5, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Mike Elizondo, Danny Elfman, Michael Giacchino) and has been featured on dozens of projects for film and television.

Scott is also an award-winning songwriter and producer with work spanning from feature film end title tracks to cuts with various recording artists, including his own solo act, VÂN SCOTT. After briefly relocating to New York City in 2021 for Berklee School of Music's inaugural Songwriting & Production Master's program at BerkleeNYC, Scott returned to LA in 2023 to make it home base once more. His third studio album is due for release in 2026. Meanwhile, he continues to remain bicoastal with regular sessions in LA, NYC and Nashville, and tour dates both locally and abroad.
