- C Kimberly Toms was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and lived in multiple cities as a child to a pediatrician father and a stay-at-home mother. Toms is an American business consultant, film producer, director, writer and rape/attempted murder survivor.
Toms spent six years pursuing justice after being twice raped by a supervisory special agent from the U.S. Department of State, a man who had been stalking and threatening her life for a full year. The special agent from Wisconsin also attempted to murder her, staging a scene to frame her as an intruder in his home under the Wisconsin Castle Doctrine. His plan failed when she discovered his intent.
Toms started her media career at the age of 14, as a television fashion commercial model. She later worked in location scouting, film premiere event planning, talent representation, production and direction of television commercials and episodic content.
Kimberly Toms' first feature-length film is the documentary Escaping Fed (2019), for which she is producer-director and writer. Escaping Fed is Kimberly's own story of victimization by an empowered serial rapist and attempted murderer.

- I feel like my country's child, even more than I felt like a person's child. I felt parented by laws, rights and conscience.
- America has just forgotten that our citizens matter above all else. Without individual citizens, there is no tax revenue, economic growth, voting turnout or military might. One plus one, plus one, plus one...that is how you build strength. The "one" matters.
