Biography

Thomas Giannakis is a director, an acting coach and a digital artist. He has studied at the Department of Digital Arts and Cinema (School of Economics and Political Sciences, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, NKUA). Also, he has studied Acting Art of Theatre and Film at the Department of Artistic Studies & Applied Arts at the School of Advanced Vocational Training in Athens and he took the Professional Specialty Diploma (Internationally recognized degree, Level 5, excellent grade) from Ministry of Education for Acting Art of Theatre and Film. He is a registered Adult Educator in the registry of instructors of Panteion University, where he received his certificate after the three-month program he attended. In a programm of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens he obtained the certificate in Directing (Cinema: History, Practices and Basic Principles of Directing) with the academic supervisor Eva Stefani, Professor of History and Theory of Cinema at the Department of Theatre Studies of the University of Athens (excellent grade).
