Gayane Petrosyan is an independent documentary filmmaker, her core activity includes films dealing with social problematic, environmental conservation, historical and ecological projects with political context. As author/director/producer she created more than 15 documentaries. Among them international projects Children of The State (2014, International distribution CAT&Docs), Baikal Planet (2011, presented at the Museum of Oceanography of Monaco and at the International Conference of UNESCO in Paris) and BAFTA nominated Born to be Free (2015, Russia/UK, International distribution Dogwoof), broadcasted on Netflix, Channel4, ARTE/ZDF.
