Her first short film, The Streetlight (2024) won the Special Jury Mention for Best Film at Fantasia Film Festival, along with an Audience award.
With an ongoing goal to express tones of existentialism, nostalgia and liminal spaces, Sophia's second film will be horror short, Zippy's House (2026).
