Göran Fransson(II)
Göran Fransson is a Swedish psychiatrist and writer who has been involved in large number of spectacular crime investigations and psychiatric evaluations of criminals. He is probably best known as the psychiatrist/chief physician at Säter's Mental Hospital, where he became involved in the rehabilitation and treatment of Thomas Quick and others. Later he was appointed chief physician/psychiatrist at Sidsjön, Sudsvalls hospital, where he in 1999 made a psychiatric evaluation of Lars Widerström. Göran Fransson has been involved and acted in many documentaries that deal with forensic psychiatry and criminology.
