- Valter Vieira da Silva, better known as Golias Discos (named after comedian Ronald Golias), had more than 50 years dedicated to vinyl records sale in Vitória, capital of Espírito Santo, Brazil, and can be considered a great icon when it comes to LPs. In 1998 he shut down the company, but one year later started all over again and continued to sell records for a living until his last day. He died on November 5, 2022 by a fulminant hypovolemic shock.

- Used to be a Disc Jockey (DJ) during the 60's and 70's. Always on demand, quickly became one of the favorites for New Year's Eve and Debutante parties on the main clubs of the city.

They were visiting the city after potential candidates, entered the Golias Discos store only to buy some records and were delighted by his personality. It was the year the show was intending to have older contestants in the house. Golias refused the invitation.
- [on bankruptcy and the comeback] At the end of 1998 I was broke due to piracy. Then came the DVD, that broke the video stores. When it happened to me, I got really shaken because I lost everything, even my marriage. Two months later, I started all over again. I was humiliated and punished. Everybody thought I was crazy because I kept selling LPs during the peak of CDs. By the irony of fate, the vinyls are back all over the world.
- [on his time as a Disc Jockey] I worked 11 years at night clubs. Used to make the New Year's Eve for the millionaires, matinees at the Iate Clube and Praia Tênis for the kids, during Michael Jackson explosion era in the mid 70's and beyond. The girls (debutants) only wanted me to do it. I would play all year because the girls wanted me to do their sweet 15 parties.
- I can't stay one day without listening to music for about one hour, one hour and a half, in my bedroom. Music brings happiness, it makes me stronger. I can't explain. I can't stand to hear anything new, I only like old stuff: Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Ray Charles, Pink Floyd, great orchestras. I'm a little bit moody. I see all the young kids killing it in the industry, there are many things nowadays, and we have to accept that in the middle of it, there are good things also.
- [on his favorite artist] I don't know why, but Sylvester Stallone. From everything I saw and read, I find him humble and truthful, no bullshit. He's a guy with a very deep life story. I admire him a lot.
- [on what he considers an unforgettable song] One that I can't listen to, because I always cry, is 'My Way', by Frank Sinatra. Heavy lyrics. It talks about my life and of many others. The chorus is very deep, it blows my mind.
